Paulette Schubert

Paulette Schubert passed away on July 11, 2022 at the age of 75.  She was born June 15, 1947 in Austin, Texas to the late Ilene and Carl Mohler, Sr.  She married Jimmie Doyle Sullivent on September 3, 1965 and he went to be with the Lord on July 10, 1989.  She then met and fell in love with James Schubert and they married on July 25, 1992 where they spent the last 30 years in Rosanky, Texas.

She was a loving Wife, Mother and Nana to us all.  She was an active member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs lodge where she served in many capacities including Noble Grand.  She was also a member of the Pistols and Pearls Society.  She enjoyed baking cakes, making hundreds of beautiful cakes over the years including making the wedding cakes for her children.  Paulette loved Elvis and was a lifelong collector of butterflies.  You can’t see a butterfly without thinking of her.

Paulette is survived by husband, James Schubert and her son, Doyle Sullivent and his daughter Carla; Her son Kevin and wife Michelle Sullivent and children, Laura, Alyssa, James;  Stepdaughters: Kim and husband Lynn Frerich and children Ashley and Ty Kasper and Mitchell; Tiffany and husband John Green, and son Cody Karstedt; Stefanie and husband Jason Wilhelm and children Leslie and Weston;  Great grandsons: Sane Karstedt and Joey Cancilla; Sister Kitty and husband Ivan McCoy; Brother Carl Mohler Jr. and wife Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Paulette was preceded in death by first husband Jimmie Doyle Sullivent and parents Ilene and Carl Mohler Sr.

Please join the family for a visitation in honor of Paulette Schubert on Sunday, July 17 from 5pm to 7 pm at Marrs Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, Texas.  There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Rosanky Baptist Church at 10 am, followed by a meal in the fellowship Hall.  Paulette will be laid to rest at the Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home. The funeral home is located at 110 American Legion Dr. in Smithville, Texas.

The funeral service to celebrate Paulette's life will be at 10:00am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Rosanky Baptist Church in Rosanky, Texas.

The graveside service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Live Oak Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 10739-10799 Twin Creek Rd, Manchaca, Texas.
