Mary Dolan

Mary Jo Dolan of Smithville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2022. She was born August 12, 1933, to Rex and Pauline Boon Smith in Dallas, Texas.  Mary Jo dedicated her life to raising, helping, and enjoying her four sons. She was a devoted Catholic and an avid fifty-six-year Dallas Cowboys fan. Mary Jo was also a longstanding member of both Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Mary Jo is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and April Daniels, son Jeff Daniels and Sara Salimi, son and daughter-in-law, James and Carol Daniels, son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Nancy Daniels; grandson(s), Matt Torrez and wife, Megan Torrez, Arshia Nikmanesh; granddaughters, Candice Lundquist, Allyson and her husband, Travis Clennon; great-granddaughters, Adison, Elaina; her niece, Annelies Smith Mouring and her husband, Robert; great-nieces, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Ariana; daughter-in-laws, Donna Harty and Leah Clay Daniels.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 5:00pm-7:00pm followed by rosary at 7:00pm in the chapel of Marrs-Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, TX. Mass will be Friday, March 11, at 10:00am at St. Paul Catholic Church in Smithville, TX. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in Palmer, TX.
