Linda Miller

Linda Miller, 72, of Smithville was called from this life on March 21, 2021. She was born March 3, 1949 to Ernest Hubert Hinkle and Bessie Lou (Foster) Hinkle in Gregg County, Texas.

Linda retired from the Bastrop ISD. She loved to go on cruises and gamble.

She is survived by: daughters, Lou Ann Peavy and husband Robert Peavy of Smithville, Kathy Smith and husband Eric Smith, Jennifer Berg and husband Nathan Kimbrell; brothers, Danny Hinkle, James Hinkle and Herschel Hinkle; sisters, Betty Hinkle-Neil and Mary Hinkle; grandchildren, Dustin Miller and wife Laura, Justin Miller, Cody Wofford and wife Yaritza, Megan Wofford and husband Zack O’Neil, Cheyenne Peavy and husband Bradley Nelson, Robert Peavy, Jr., Sabrina Smith, Stephanie Smith, James Smith, Carmen Glaeser and husband Jarred, Renay Thomas and Alex Thomas; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00pm Thursday at Marrs-Jones All Faiths Chapel, Smithville, Texas. A graveside service will be 10:00am at Oak Hill Cemetery off FM2336 between Bastrop and McDade, Texas.
