Danny Nichols

Danny Lee Nichols, of Smithville, passed away, October 1, 2020 at the age of 53.

Danny was born in Smithville, Texas to James B. “Sonny” Nichols and Dorothy Weaver Nichols on July 1, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his father “Sonny” Nichols; sister, Connie Leigh Nichols; and grandparents, Nouell E. “Bill” Nichols and Amy Alta Adcock Nichols, L.Z. “Elzie” Weaver and Josie Kelly Weaver.

He was survived by his mother, Dorothy Weaver Nichols, who passed away peacefully three days after Danny; he is survived by his sister, Brenda Nichols Fehlker (David); brother, James D. Nichols (Lisa Lott); daughter, Lanie Meekins; the love of his life, Brianna Vinklarek (and her son, Layne Kimball); his dog, Sadie; nephews and nieces, James Fehlker (Katie), Jennifer Pfannstiel (Daniel), Jessica Fehlker, Timothy Nichols (Rachel Holmberg),  Kyle Nichols ( Morgan Harris), Tyler Bradley (Becky); great-nephews and great-nieces, Mason Fehlker, Layla Fehlker, David Austin and Calvin Pfannstiel, Waylon Bradley; cousins, Loretta Lynch(Mark),  Sheree Hoffman (Randy), Kim Gladwell, Ricky Tucker, David Tucker (Karen), Ronnie Tucker (Brenda), Timmy Tucker (Lisa), Gary Tucker; aunts, Peggy Dyer, Margie Tucker; numerous extended family and many, many friends.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle Nichols, James M. Fehlker, Timothy Nichols, Bobby Adams, Neil Goertz, Joel Spencer, Brandon Vinklarek and Garrett Limmer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mason Fehlker, Layne Kimball, Tyler Bradley, Garrett Segura, Joey Vinklarek, Matthew Vinklarek, Kenny Todd and Kip Adams.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home, All Faiths of the Pines Chapel, located at 110 American Legion Road in Smithville, Texas.

The graveside service will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, Texas.
