Betty Simpson

Betty Jean Burns Simpson
joined her husband of 48 years in heaven on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Betty was born November 10, 1935 in Smithville.

She grew up on the farm belonging to her parents, Howard and Florence Burns, Sr. As the oldest of 4 children she had lots of responsibility which carried her throughout her life.

Betty was always ready to drop what she was doing to be available for her family in their time of need.

Betty is survived by lots of family.  Her children Kim Mikulicz, Karrie Matthews, and Gene Simpson.
Grand children: Stephanie Andrews, Christina Matthews, McKenna Simpson, Candace Miller and Christen Burch along with many great grandchildren.  Siblings: June Garrett, Helen Stogner, and Howard Burns, Jr.  Her family of nieces, nephews and cousins were many.
