Tommy Davis

October 17, 1939 — May 12, 2020

Mr. Tommy Earl Davis, born October 15, 1939, passed peacefully on May 12, 2020.  He is survived by his wife, Beverly Davis; sister, Nona Gold; son, Tommy Davis and his wife, Susan Davis.  He was blessed with grandchildren Brian Davis and his wife Jessica; Michelle Boykin and her husband David; Jessica Davis and Amanda Davis.  Additional blessings came with great grandchildren Emma, Noah, Elijah, and Finnleigh Davis; Lauren and Luke Boykin.  Sadly, for our family, he will be joining his son Stephen Davis who preceded him in passing from this life.

The world is at loss to Heaven’s gain as those who knew Tommy can attest.  Tommy Davis was one of those rare individuals who spoke the truth even when it hurt.  He chose the correct path even when it was the hardest path to follow.  Tommy Davis lived by a set of rules that required actions to be just and fair.  He took up the fight to guard the weak and offered a helping hand to those who found themselves in trouble times.  May everyone celebrate the spark of life passed to each of us by his presence and know we are better thanks to the time spent with him on this earth.  Know that he is looking down as a protective angel whose actions while alive will guide us in the future.  Peace and tranquility in God’s merciful hands are his reward for the care he gave to all those he knew.  Peace and blessings fly with him as we celebrate the passing of a true man of action.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Davis family has requested that a mask be worn by anyone who will be attending the Private Memorial Servece for Tommy Davis.     Although not mandatory, it is best to be safe.  Thank you in advance for understanding.
