Thelma Gilmore

Mrs. Virginia Gilmore, age 95, of Smithville was called from this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Luling, Texas. She was born August 8, 1920 to Elias Denton Moore and Minnie Lee (Guyton) Moore in Brownfield, Texas.
Mrs. Gilmore was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Smithville.

She is survived by: sons, Bobby Gilmore and Mickey Gilmore; a daughter, Beverly Cooper; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church in Smithville.
