Teresa Slusher

Teresa Renee Slusher was born February 15, 1966 in Pasadena, Texas. She was baptized into faith at Grace Lutheran Church in February of 1966 and was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church as a young adult. Teresa attended school at Smithville ISD. After graduating, she married and raised her family in Smithville.

Teresa was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved her Cowboys. She was also a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You could bet she would be in church each Sunday then rushing straight home to watch her Cowboys!

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Marvin and Mary Kasper.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Frances Pool, her two Sons;  James (JR) Hughes  and his wife Rachel and Wesley Tucker; three Grandkids, Gavin, Lilly and Waylon Hughes; two Sisters; Kimberly Craig and her husband Blake and Sherri Sternadel; four Nieces and Nephews, Brent  Kovar and his wife Cassie, Reagan Kunz and his wife Ariel, Haley (Willis) Nunn and her husband Christion  and Zoey Wendland. Theresa also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved and cherished her dearly.

Teresa was loved by so many and was simply blessed to have such amazing family and friends. She was always full of life and smiling even when the odds were against her. She will be greatly missed but knowing she is at peace with our Lord and Savior bring us some comfort.

Pallbearers for Teresa’s Funeral Service will be the following family members and friends:
Randall Fitzgerald,  Walter Psencik, Jr.,  Troy Kasper,  Bradley Bertsch,  Brent Kovar  and  Reagan Kuntz

A Visitation will be held at All Faiths of the Pines between the hours of 4:00PM -6:00PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2019.  Funeral Services will be at Grace Lutheran Church starting at 11:00AM, Thursday, June 20, 2019. Teresa will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery following the funeral services.
