SMSgt. Jere D. Hinton, USAF (Retired)

Senior Master Sergeant Jere Don Hinton, United States Air force (Retired), passed away surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jan Hinton, his sons Jeff Hinton and Ashton Hinton, his daughter Jeri Kay Hinton and his grandchildren, Tac and Anaka Hinton.

A proud veteran, Jere dedicated 21 years of honorable service to the Air Force’s Tactical Air Command, stationed across the globe in Spain, Iran Korea, Southeast Asia and Africa. His distinguished career reflected not only his skill and discipline, but also his unwavering devotion to serving his country. After retiring from the Air Force, Jere worked for Sulzer Carbo Medics for 27 years.

The memorial service is will be October 11th, 2025 at Haynie Chapel in Garfield Texas at 10:00 AM, followed by Military Honors.
