Sherry Elaine Crysup, 63, went to meet the Lord on June 3, 2024.
Taken too soon in life, her passing leaves, a void in our hearts, that truly won’t be filled until we join her at the Savior’s feet one day.
She will be remembered for her generous and loving heart; for her love of dancing. A laugh that brightened your day.
Sherry was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed getting lost in books that took place in different times and other locations.
As her boys were growing up, she volunteered for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. These were some of her happiest times.
Road trips were with friends were always something she look forward to. Even with her recent mobility issues, she had an opportunity to go to the casino and play the one armed bandit.
Sherry retired from the state of Texas in 2022. Over the years , she worked at H-E-B, IRS, Texas Workforce, and the Texas controllers office. She enjoyed her jobs, especially when working on her computer. She made several lifelong friends that she always treasured.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 31 years, Travis Crysup of Paige ,Texas. Her sons , William Crysup of Smithville, Texas and James Crysup of Smithville, Texas. Her sister, Helen Seidel (John Seidel) of Kenefick, Texas. Many other family members, including nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Pallbearers will be: Tristen Golger, William Crysup, Ben Crysup, Jake Cartman, Camron Cartman and Cayton Mikulec
