Sarah Louise Tepley

Sarah  l. Allen Tepley, age 61, passed away on September 1, 2024 in Austin, TX, after a battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Hancock, NY, and graduated from Hancock Central School. She is survived by her mother, Ellen Dailey Hathaway (Sam) (Austin, TX) and was preceded in death by her father, Elbert “Sonny” Allen, Sr. (Starlight, PA). Sarah is also survived by her life partner, Fred Verrell (Smithville, TX);1 fur boy dog, Bacon; 1 daughter, Koren Sahanas (Austin, TX); 1 son Jacob Tepley (Lindenhurst, NY); 1 sister, Diane Hathaway (Austin, TX); 4 brothers: Greg (Theresa) Allen Sr. (Starlight PA), Kevin (Jodi) Allen (Starlight, PA), Andrew Allen (Starlight, PA), and Elbert Allen Jr. (New Jersey); and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a step brother, Charles “Charlie” Hathaway (Buffalo, NY) and 1 step sister Sandra (Mark) Hathaway-Cole (Buffalo, NY); and sister in law, Patti Allen. Sarah was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Allen and a step sister, Janice Hathaway-Rinus. She will be cremated in Texas and there will be no services.
