Obituary

Renee Lynn McDonald Grandma Nae Nae was a woman who lived life on her own terms. A true Wildflower, she simply could not be tamed. Our Grandma walked through this world with fire in her soul, strength in her heart, and a presence that was impossible to forget. Life may have tested her, but it never took away the strength that made her who she was. She was fierce and hard but beneath that toughness was a heart capable of loving deeply. She may not have always known how to be the mother she wished she could be. But she loved her children more than anything in this world. Love was what she had to give, and she gave it in the only way she knew how. She loved each and every single one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. If grandma taught us anything in life it was to have faith through the good times and the difficult ones. She was a god-fearing woman, our grandma knew that no matter where life took her, God was never far away. Our grandma wasn't made to live quietly or fade into the background. She was made to be remembered. She was wild, strong, fearless and beautifully herself. You weren't perfect, but you were ours and we were yours. You were fire, you were love in your own crazy form.
You were a wildflower.
"In a field of Roses, she was a WILDFLOWER."
Though her time on this earth has come to an end, the love she gave, the memories she created and the fire she carried will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Renee is survived by her mother Barbara Bradley, her siblings Joyce, David, Patricia, Dwayne, Kimberly, Nancy, Bobbi Jo.
