Raymah M. Davis

Raymah Marie Call Davis, 60, of  Smithville, Texas Retired Bastrop County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 passed away peacefully Sunday, August 27, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Raymah was born in Borger, Texas to Archie and Alice Call.  She moved to Smithville in 1980 and graduated from Smithville High School in 1981. Raymah married Lee Davis in 1983. Together, they raised two children. Raymah was appointed Bastrop County Justice of the Peace in 1998 and proudly served until she retired on July 31, 2023. Raymah loved to travel, fish, and spend time with family and friends.

Raymah had a radiant spirit and infectious smile. She smiled with her eyes, laughed with her soul and nourished with her heart. She touched all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Raymah is survived by her children Courtney Taylor (Heath) of Marble Falls and Noah Davis of Smithville and nephews Michael Carter (Jennifer) of Spring and Zachary Carter (Ashley) of Bastrop. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Landon, Chloe, Harper, Bo, and Peyton. Also her sisters Lisa Call of Elkhart Kanas and Emma (Kip) Adams of Smithville and Brothers David (Sandy) Call and John (Debra) Call. Raymah is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Crusie, parents Archie and Alice Call, and sister Anna Carter.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00am at the Smithville Recreation Center. Reception to follow memorial service.
