Mary Brueggman

Mary Lee (Jarosek) Brueggman passed peacefully at her home in the company of her family on March 16, 2016. She was born July 30, 1934 in Moulton, Texas to Lee L. and Marie (Petrek) Jarosek. In 1952 Mary Lee married Billy Ray Brueggman and they shared almost 64 years together.

Mary Lee loved life and its many facets. Her first love was her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Going on cruises was her second favorite pastime. Other pastimes included riding across the pastures on the "Ranger", sitting by the pool, soap operas, and cross stitching.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rhonda Brueggman Plance.

Left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Billy R. Brueggman; son, Jack J. Brueggman; a daughter, Janice Jo Brueggman-Taylor; a son, Patrick J. Brueggman; a brother, L. A. Jarosek and wife Linda; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home, Smithville, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Smithville, Texas. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, Texas.
