Madene O'Quinn

Madene Sheppard O’Quinn passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 95.  She was born on September 1, 1922 in Bishop, Texas to parents Frank and Pairlee Sheppard.

Madene is survived by her daughters, Pairlee Ivy and husband John; Patricia Stephens and husband Earl; son, Rodney O’Quinn; Brother Harvey Sheppard and Wife Joyce; Sister, Marie Needham and Sister-In-Law, Joy Sheppard.  She was blessed to also have Nine Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.   Grandchildren:  Judy Tullos and husband Winfred, Randy Ivy, D’Mietress Myers and husband Nick, Brady O’Quinn, Bryce O’Quinn, Avery Lee Phillips, Madene Elizabeth Rainey and husband Kenneth Lee, Stephanie Lynn Stephens and Carey Wayne O’Quinn. Great Grandchildren: Jessica Tullos, Cade Tullos and wife Ashley, Morgan Myers, Mason Myers, Katelyn Elizabeth Hanson, Katherine Nikole Hanson, Keirstin Naomi Hanson, Josiah Aaron Zane Rainey, Keisha Annette Rainey, Shyann Annette Rainey and husband Eli Leal, Wyatt Denver Rainey, Ashley Brook Smith and Merallie Lynn Smith.  Great-Great Grandchildren: Rhilynn Jade Tullos and Coulson Michael Tullos along with many special Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Avery “Slim” O’Quinn; Son, Garry O’Quinn; Grandsons, James W. Purcell and David Glenn Koch; Five Brothers, Grover, Haskell, Rayburn, Jessie and Kenneth Sheppard and Two Sisters, Beatrice Rankin and Geneva Majors.

Graveside Services for Madene O’Quinn will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Angleton Cemetery located at 328 Cemetery Road, Angleton, Texas 77515.
