Judith Elizabeth Sherman (nee Ruskoski) passed away peacefully at her home in Bastrop Texas with her husband

E.C.(Joey) Sherman at her side on Friday January 4th, 2019 after she lost her battle with Cancer.

Judith was born on November 14th, 1943 in Wheeling West Virginia to Walter and Mary Ruskoski.

Judith moved to Lubbock Texas with her family when she was 13 years old where she attended O.L Slaton Middle School and then Monterrey High School.

When Judith was in High School she frequented the Hi-D-Ho drive inn in Lubbock Texas,  where she met E.C. (Joey) Sherman.

Judith married E.C. (Joey) Sherman on June 18, 1960 and afterwards settled in Acuff Texas.  There they had three children, Cathy, Carla and Corey.

In 1968, Judith's husband E.C. graduated from the Texas Department of Public Safety academy and became a state Trooper and they moved their family to Idalou Texas.

After moving around the state of Texas after her husband E.C. had serveral promotions with The Department of Public Safety, they settled in Bastrop Texas on

Judith enjoyed reading, crocheting and visiting with her family and friends.  She was the glue that held everyone together.

Judith is survived by her husband E.C. (Joey), her daughter Cathy and husband Mike Kubicek, daughter Carla and husband Gary Marek, 7 grand children and 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind, two sisters Catherine and husband Wayne Parent from Canton Michigan,  Mary and husband Glenn Hurlbut from Twinsburg Ohio.
