Josiah Robert Woelmer was given life by his Creator and was born on February 27, 2026 to David and Elizabeth Woelmer. That same day, he received the gift of Holy Baptism and was granted a holy death as the Lord took him home to rest in the arms of Jesus, where he awaits the resurrection of the dead.
“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our brother Josiah.
Services to celebrate Josiah will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church in Smithville, Texas. The family and friends will gather from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and the funeral service will begin at 10:00 am, and baby Josiah will be laid to rest at St. Michael's Lutheran Cemetery in Winchester, Texas.
