Jose Angel Garcia

Joseph A. Garcia, 75, went to his heavenly home on July 10, 2023. He was born in Matadora, Texas on April 4, 1948.

Joseph Garcia was a great family man and a loving father. He married Maria Gutierrez in 1989. Joseph has a son Bobby Garcia before this marriage who Maria took in and loved, later the couple had become guardians for April Orsak and Brandi Ventura.

Joseph was a proud veteran who fought in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm during his service of 30 years. Beyond his military service, he enjoyed many activities like fishing, barbecuing, loteria nights with the family, and watching his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys. HIs friends and family will always remember him as a loving, outspoken person.

Joseph was a loving father, brother, and pawpaw who will be truly missed by everyone who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace with his wife in Heaven and with God.

He is survived by April Orsak, his son in law Christopher Orsak who he loved like a son, Brandi Ventura, Estella Ventura, Gracie Millan, Jessica Ventura-Ramon, Liandor Ventura, Robert Ventura, Sammy Ventura, and his many grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on July 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary to be prayed at 6:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on July 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM. at Marrs Jones All Faiths Chapel in Smithville, TX. The family ask to wear Joseph Garcia’s favorite color navy blue or white when attending the funeral.
