Jean D. Hajdik

Jean D. Hajdik, 78 , of Conroe, TX passed away October 27, 2023.  Jean was born in Giddings, TX, the daughter of Walter and Lydia Jatzlau.  Jean graduated from Giddings High School.  Afterwards, she married Jesse Hajdik and they were married for 45 years before his death in 2008.  Jean had a long career with Cy Fair Independent School District in Cypress, TX.  She was known for her kind heart and easy-going personality, touching the lives of many throughout her life. 

Jean is survived by her children, Jonathan and Lynn Hajdik, and Ricky Hajdik, Sr. as well as her grandson, Rick Hajdik, Jr.  Further, she is survived by her extensive family of brother-in-law Benny Hajdik, brother and sister-in-law Ted and Cathy Hajdik, sisters Ruth Thomas, Helen Jatzlau, brother Edmund Jatzlau and sister-in-law Betty Jatzlau, sister Shirley Dismuke, brother and sister-in-law Danny and Cindy Jatzlau, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Peter Wright. Brother and sister-in-law Walter and Jane Jatzlau, brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Jonita Jatzlau, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Carl Adams and Debbie and Wayne Gill, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Saturday, November 04, 2023 10:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Smithville, TX.  Funeral services will be held shortly thereafter at 11:00 am with Pastor David Woelmer officiating.
