Jason Dunk

Jason Edward Dunk, 47, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 in Winchester, Texas.

Jason was born October 23, 1973 in LaGrange, Texas. While in high school, during summer breaks, he traveled with his cousins to Mississippi and Alabama delivering phone books. After high school, he worked at Rohan TV repairing televisions and VCRs. That technical experience helped him get a job in the production area at Designed Security Inc. in Bastrop, Texas. His attention to detail made him an asset in that department.

Jason loved animals and made friends with every stray cat and dog in Winchester. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. He was always ready to pitch in whenever anyone asked him for help. His kind spirit and generous heart will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Rene Dunk.

Jason is survived by his uncle, Lee W. Perkins; and numerous cousins.

Jason will be laid to rest at the Winchester City Cemetery beside his mother. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Texas at 10:00am.
