Esther Hoskins

Esther Ida Hoskins, 92, of Smithville passed March 7, 2017. She was born September 30, 1924 to Leonore (Wessels) and Gus J. Tramp in Plum, Texas.

Esther was a loving wife and mother who also waitressed, love cooking, quilting and gardening.

Esther is preceded by first husband, Ferril "Buddy" Marion Thomas, and second husband, Virgil Hoskins; her parents; and sisters Bernice Behrend and Carolyn Tramp.

Remembering her with love are her brother Gus C. Tramp; three children: Ferril M.Thomas, Mary Lou Thomas and Bonnie Harrell; 6 grandchildren: Trey Thomas, Kimberly Boehm, Phillip Vasek, Lisa Ladewig, Chelsea Waggoner and Ashley Harrell; 5 great-grandchildren: Lauryn Boehm, Lacy Ladewig, Levi Ladewig, Aubrey Waggoner and Ashton Waggoner; 2 great-great-grandchildren: Marley Andres and Melia Farrar.

Funeral services are Friday, March 10, 2017, 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, with interment following at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, TX.
