Elbert Bradshaw Jr.

September 14, 1940 — July 6, 2017

Elbert Bradshaw, Jr., known as Eb or Ebbie, was born to
Eva Myrtle (Crawford) and Elbert Bradshaw, Sr. on
September 14, 1940 in Smithville, Texas.
He married Frances Lavern Donner on August 16, 1968.
This marriage was blessed with two sons,
Elbert Bradshaw III (Trey) and John Warren Bradshaw.

Ebbie is survived by Trey, John and his spouse Ruby,
grandchildren, Amy, Ashley and JW Bradshaw; sisters,
Bernice Luck, Lori Adams and Joyce Call and numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his
wife of nineteen years, his parents, brothers Robert and
Pete Bradshaw, Eugene and Edward Kelley, and sister
Vera Hail.

Eb retired from Bastrop County Precinct 2 after 27 years
as a maintainer operator and continued working with his
cattle until his health failed. One of his greatest joys
was a good domino game which he generally won, family
fox hunting with his beagles and hounds, and squirrel hunting.

Eb was especially proud of the fact he successfully reared
his two sons as a single parent following his wife's passing.
He will be fondly remembered as an individual who always
was willing to help others.

There will be a visitation at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home from
6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, July 10, 2017. A Celebration of
Ebbie's life will be 10:00am Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville. In lieu of
