Curtis Walter Webb, Jr., 88, of Paige, TX, passed away on March 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Today, as we gather to honor the life of Curtis Webb Jr, we reflect on the profound impact he had on all who knew him. Curtis was more than just a beloved husband, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather; he was a pillar of strength and love within his family and community.

Curtis’s journey on this earth came to a close on Monday, March 18, 2024. Although he has left this world, his spirit will forever live on and in the hearts of those he touched. Curtis is survived by three of his children: Melissa Davis, Gregory Webb, and Carla Webb, along with his grandchildren: Carley Lister; Loren Lopez; Jordan Cruise; Atom Webb; Heather Webb; Brandon Barnett; Regan Rutledge and Curtis Davis; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, who brought much joy into his life and a big smile to his face when they all greeted him as Paw-Paw. One special person in Curtis's life was his caretaker, Fox, she not only cared for Curtis in his later years but also became one of Curtis's chosen daughters and he loved her as such.

He is reunited in Heaven with his parents Curtis Webb Sr. and Alma Webb, his loving wife Peggy Webb, his son Jeff Webb, and his brother Jimmy Webb.

His reunion in heaven with his beloved wife Peggy brings solace amidst our grief. Curtis's devotion to Peggy during their 14 years of separation until his passing speaks volumes about the depth of his love and commitment to all of his loved ones.

In his professional life, Curtis excelled at Chrysler, later finding fulfillment at CARTS, where his dedication, hard work, and contributions to the redesigning and building of CARTS vehicles have left an indelible mark on our public transportation system, impacting countless lives in 8 counties and 169 communities.

Beyond his professional achievements, Curtis was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in nature, wildlife, fishing, sports, and the thrill of NASCAR races. Yet, his true happiness emanated from the warmth of family gatherings, especially when cooking on the grill and creating cherished memories.

Curtis’s generosity extended beyond his family circle; he was a proud member of the Paige Lions Club and the Paige Volunteer Fire Department - Auxiliary Team. His commitment to serving his community exemplifies the essence of his character—a man of integrity, compassion, and selflessness.

As we bid farewell to Curtis Webb Jr, let us take comfort in knowing that his legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the love he shared. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us to cherish each moment with our loved ones and to live life with passion and purpose.

Rest in peace, dear Curtis. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
