Arleen Lucille Bullock was born to Ira and Eva Ray on Jan. 22, 1924 in Logan, Kansas. Her mother passed away when Arleen was 4 months of age. After her mother's death. she was taken into the home of her paternal grandparents and was raised as one of their own. She left this earthly life to her heavenly home with her Lord on February 24th, 2018.

She attended schools at Logan Kansas, graduating with the class of 1941. She attended and received a Teachers Life Certificate from the College of Hays Kansas. She then taught 10 years in the same school she attended as a child.

Arleen met the love of her life, Linford Milton Bullock, while in college and they married on May 31, 1945. They made their home in Logan, Kansas. During the years 1950-1954 Lin taught math and science at Logan High School and Arleen taught at Logan Elementary. Lin left his teaching career after 4 years and joined Halliburton as an Electrical Engineer while Arleen enjoyed being a housewife. He retired in 1981 after 27 years with this company. They then moved to Lake Thunderbird, Smithville, Texas and enjoyed years of traveling in the US and Canada visiting relatives and friends.

In May 1995 Lin and Arleen celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Methodist Church Parlor in Smithville. Arleen was active in her church and a member of the Women's group. She volunteered at Towers Nursing Home playing the organ for more than 35 years. (She later played the organ while a resident there.) In later years she was joined by a very special friend, Virginia Erwin who played the piano as they accompanied each other.

In July 1999 she and Lin had a new home built in town where they resided for 15 years prior to both of them residing together at Towers, until his death in 2014.
